This evening, December 2nd, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., at the Elkridge Fire Station, located at 5700 Rowanberry Drive in Elkridge, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball will host a transportation forum. Ball will be joined by Office of Transportation Administrator Bruce Gartner, Department of Public Works Director Jim Irvin and Howard County Police Department Captain Chris Neubauer to deliver an overview of transportation priorities, as well as presentations of ongoing transportation infrastructure projects, investments, policies and public safety. There will also be opportunities for audience Q&A, as well as interaction with county transportation leaders and experts.

“Transportation issues are a top concern of Howard County residents and I have charged my team with building a multimodal transportation system so that we can be a fully thriving community, reducing the time we spend in our cars, increasing our time spent with family and friends while expanding access to jobs and increasing the productivity of our workforce,” said Ball. “From passing Complete Streets to expanding RTA service and investing in our bike lanes and trails, we have had a very successful year building and improving the mobility of all Howard County residents. I encourage Howard County residents, commuters and bikers to attend our transportation forum, meet our incredible team of transportation experts and share their transportation related thoughts, concerns and questions.”
