7th Annual Main Street Music Fest on September 21, 2019

The 7th Annual Main Street Music Fest is happening on Saturday September 21st. Here is some information from the website for the event:

Main Street Music Fest is inspired by the desire to support and celebrate the best indie artist talent the Mid Atlantic has to offer.

Join us Saturday, September 21, 2019!

Full day FREE festival features 3 outdoor stages, 7 indoor stages, 45+ bands, Craft Beer & Boutique Wine Gardens, and family friendly activities throughout the historic district.

NEW -Friday Night Feature
Festivities begin Friday at the kickoff concert “History of the Blues, Part II”.  Hear blues covers by Jimmy Sexton Trio spanning early 20th century to today. This is a ticketed event, click HERE for purchase.

Main Street Stage – Lot D
Enjoy rock that spans the decades with a little brass and funk mixed in. Finish the day with the soulful rock sounds of Sweet Leda. Choose from 7 food offerings including Mexican, Syrian, NOLA inspired, mac ‘n cheese or diner favorites and have a boutique wine or local craft beer with it. Bring the kids to Tie Dye World by Bethany United Methodist Church and other crafts offered at the adjacent Courtyards.

Homegrown Stage – The Wine Bin
Feel the local love with Work in Progress, Soul Island Rebels and The Kelly Bell Band.  Local craft beer and boutique wines compliment specialty food by La Palapa and Chesapeake Food Works.
Enjoy nearby kids crafts offered by Spotlight 4-H Club.

The Roadhouse at Riverside – Lot B
Find a 50’s/60’s spin with music, classic cars and a people’s choice car contest.  Rock the day away with featured artists Josh Christina and Mark Whiskey & The Sours. Have a lobster roll with your favorite local brew while you shop artisan specials.

Artists’ Village
Experience our talented local artists demonstrating mosaics, painting, clay work, sign making and more. Take home a treasure from their pop up gallery.  Delight the kids with free face painting.

Choose from intimate acoustic to room-to-dance electric at our diverse collection of indoor experiences.  Afternoon, evening and late night after-party options abound.
