NEWS RELEASE: Police ask for public’s help to locate missing Ellicott City man

Howard County police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man who was last seen early Monday morning in Ellicott City.

Jason Blake Mabee, 44, was seen on foot around 3 a.m. on July 22 in the area of College Avenue. His family is concerned for his welfare due to recent health issues.

Mabee has not returned to his residence in the Chatham area of Ellicott City, and police have confirmed he has not contacted family or friends in the area. He does not have his wallet or cell phone with him.

Officers have checked local hospitals and locations he is known to frequent but have been unable to locate him.

Mabee is described as a white male, 6’1”, 200 pounds, with a shaved head and facial hair. He was last seen wearing black athletic shorts, a gray t-shirt, and black socks with no shoes.

Anyone who sees him should call 911.
