MDOT MVA is committed to providing premier customer service to the citizens of Maryland and finding new and innovative ways to serve them. The agency is working to comply with federal requirements to satisfy the REAL ID Act. A little more than 960,000 customers with the REAL ID star license will need to provide documents to MDOT MVA over the next 15 months. MDOT MVA recommends making an appointment for REAL ID to make your transaction simple and efficient.
This is great news for those in Howard County that have not taken care of their Real ID requirements. If you are one of the “more than 40,000” people that are required to have this completed by July 3rd…get it done ASAP.
Still not sure if you are required to turn in your documents as part of this…click on THIS LINK and enter your drivers license number…MVA will tell you. It really is that simple. If you are required…just follow the instructions and make an appointment online. Read about “My Federal Real ID Act Experience At Maryland MVA In Columbia” back in May.
