May 7th Is A Busy Political Day In Howard County

If you like attending local political events…well, tomorrow (May 7, 2019) might be the day for you. There are three events (that I know of) happening around Howard County…all at almost the same time. Here is a listing:

7:00pm: Board Games & Brews with Christiana

Location: Columbia

Bring a friend, enjoy a beer, play a board game,
and join us to support Christiana! Tickets available at

**By Authority: Friends of Christiana Rigby. Andrea Ingram, Chair. Michele Mercer, Treasurer.**

7:00pm: 2019 District 9B Legislative Session Wrap Up!

Location: Ellicott City

Join Delegate Courtney Watson on May 7th for a 2019 District 9B Legislative Session Wrap Up with special guest Senator Katie Fry Hester. Delegate Watson and Senator Hester will provide a summary of the session including legislation that impacts Ellicott City, as well as selected state wide legislation. The meeting will end with a question and answer session.

Charles E. Miller Branch – Howard County Library 7:00 -8:30 pm

7:30pm: District 12 Legislative Town Hall

Location: Columbia

Senator Lam and Delegates Ebersole, Feldmark and Hill are holding a town hall at Kahler Hall. Feel free to come out to discuss Team 12’s legislative efforts, the 2019 legislative session and any other issue you would like to discuss.

I have a feeling the Howard County Democratic Central Committee members will be split amongst these various meeting around Howard County tomorrow.

There is no way for me to be in three places at one time…so I will have to wait and see which one I decide to drop in on tomorrow (if possible).

Planning on attending one of these events tomorrow…let me know in the comments.
