The 2019 Howard County GreenFest is happening today at the Howard Community College from 10am to 4pm. Here is information from the Facebook event:

GreenFest is a free, fun and family-friendly event with:

– Environmental Mall with tables hosted by local green businesses, environmental non-profits, and government agencies
– Native plant sale
– Children’s activities
– Workshops
– Wildlife Room
– Paper Shredding – 10am to 2pm (or until truck is full)
– Electric Vehicles
– HCC SET/ Transition Repair Cafe – 10am to 3pm
– Free compost bin giveaway
– Rain Barrel Workshop and Give-Away – 11am
– Free Prize Raffle
– “Trash to Treasure” and “Ephemeral Nature Art” exhibits
– Jacob Panic playing banjo
– Local food vendors
