Long Reach High School finishes out the regular season with a 70 to 42 victory over Glenelg and will share a girls basketball county title with Howard High School. Here is information from the Long Reach High School Boosters Facebook page:

A big congratulations to the historic senior girls basketball class of 2019. This group of 7 players and 3 managers, including a core who have played varsity together since freshman year, has changed the face of LRHS basketball. A year after making it to the MD State 3A Finals, the Lightning are once again HoCo country champions for the 2nd straight year!

Thank you Lyric and Jaelyn Swann, Haley Thompson, Ari Briggs-Hall, Malaya Streeter, Rebecca Ford, Inumidun Aofolaju, Thahina Jean-Phillippe, Fremariam Debele and Jordan Wilson for always making Long Reach proud! #LRHSPride
