20 precent of the Alliance of American Football (AAF) regular season is complete…let us take a look at the players on offense (QBs, RBs and WRs) leading the way early on this season:

QBs: (Most Passing Yards)

  • Garrett Gilbert (Orlando) – 620 yards
  • Logan Woodside (San Antonio) – 478 yards
  • John Wolford (Arizona) – 469 yards

Other notable items: Logan Woodside leads the league in passing attempts (75), Luis Perez (Birmingham) leads the lead in pass completions (43), Garret Gilbert leads the league in completion percentage (64.2%), John Wolford leads the league in passing touchdowns (6).

RBs: (Most Rushing Yards)

  • Zac Stacy (Memphis) – 159 yards
  • Ja’Quan Gardner (San Diego) – 159 yards
  • Jhurell Pressley (Arizona) – 121 yards

Other notable items: Trent Richardson (Birmingham) leads the league in rushing attempts (42), Ja’Quan Gardner leads the league in yards per attempt (6.9 yards) (minimum 15 rushing attempts), Trent Richardson (Birmingham) leads the league in rushing touchdowns (3).

WRs: (Most Receiving Yards)

  • Charles Johnson (Orlando) – 252 yards
  • Rashad Ross (Arizona) – 170 yards
  • Quinton Patton (Birmingham) – 151 yards

Other notable items: Charles Johnson leads the league in total receptions (11), Charles Johnson leads the league in yards per catch (22.9 yards) (minimum 7 receptions), Rashad Ross leads the league in receiving touchdowns (3).

It would not shock me to see a few of the names above on NFL rosters next season.
