The Baltimore Ravens announced that Lamar Jackson will be the starter in week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the big question Ravens fans have to be asking…is Joe Flacco done as the starting Quarterback in Baltimore?

The Ravens announced that “Flacco dressing as the backup quarterback” for this week…meaning he is not healthy enough to start…or the Ravens have moved on with Jackson as their QB of the future.

The Ravens still have a lot of money tied up with Joe Flacco over the next few years…here is his current contract details (per spotrac):

Releasing Flacco would be expensive hit on the cap…but you have to believe that there are teams that will be in desperate need for a QB next year that might be willing to do some sort of trade (Jacksonville and Washington are two teams that friends and I have talked about recently). Can you think of other realistic locations for Flacco next year? Let me know in the comments.

The other side of this is that if Jackson struggles against Tampa Bay…Flacco could step in…save the day…and regain his starting job in Baltimore.

This is a big game this week (1:00pm on Sunday) for the Ravens as they continue their push for the playoffs.
