Back to back wins for the Ravens have them back in the playoff conversation in the AFC. Here are the current standings headed into week 13 of the 2018 season:

At 6 – 5, the Ravens are tied with the Colts for 6th place in the AFC (and according to…the Ravens are the current 6th seed today and the Colts are the 7th place team).

The Ravens have an interesting schedule down the stretch of the season:

Week 13: @ Falcons (4 – 7)

Week 14: @ Chiefs (9 – 2)

Week 15: Buccaneers (4 – 7)

Week 16: @ Chargers (8 – 3)

Week 17: Browns (4 – 6 – 1)

So the Ravens have two homes games and three aways game left on the schedule.  Chiefs and Chargers on the road look like difficult games…but the other three are the ones the Ravens need to win.

Lamar Jackson looks like he will start his third consecutive game for the Ravens today…and if he gets this victory…the Ravens should just run with him for the remainder of the season. Benching him for Joe Flacco would be a big mistake right now. Let the hot hand play it out…it is working right now…and they should not mess with what is working.

Alex Collins (RB) was placed on Injured Reserve today…so that will end his season. That is not the end of the world for the Ravens…Gus Edwards (RB) has become a decent addition to this offense recently with back to back 115+ yard rushing games for the Ravens. Edwards has been on the injury report this week but a recent news article I ran across says that Edwards is good to play today.

Today is a big one…a win keeps the Ravens in the drivers seat…but a lose could hurt bad this late in the season.

Washington Redskins play tomorrow night…I may have an article about that tomorrow…depending on how some of the games shake out today. It could be a big one for them as well.

My Tennessee Titans are probably done for the season. They play the Jets later this afternoon and are in a situation of almost having to win out to have any chance at the playoffs this season…and I just do not see it happening for them this year. I will still be cheering for them…but it has been a difficult season as a Tennessee Fan.
