In case you missed the vote last night relating to the Ellicott City flood mitigation plan…here is information from WBAL TV 11:
ELLICOTT CITY, Md. —
Howard County Council passed two spending bills Monday night during a council meeting to partially fund a 5-year flood mitigation plan for Ellicott City.
I checked the Howard County Council website and it has not been updated this morning with the final votes on the bill and the amendments…but the article above outlines who voted in what way last night.
This is far form over…the new Howard County Council (5 new members after the election) will play a big part in how this moves forward (with either the current County Executive or a new County Executive)…don’t be surprised to hear more about this issue in future candidate forums.
