There has been a lot of back and forth about Governor Larry Hogan’s use of Apples on campaign materials. This was reported via Bethesda Magazine:
A Montgomery County judge denied Monday a request by the Montgomery County Education Association and a state teachers union for a temporary injunction to prevent Gov. Larry Hogan from using campaign materials that resemble the local teachers union’s apple endorsement logo.
I am betting his team is now saying “How do you like them apples?” (come on…that is kind of funny).
Obviously this is not over…as the MSEA said they would continue their fight after the election. So I am betting we will be hearing more about Apples after November….and as a warning to all future candidates….if planning on using an apple on your future campaign materials…you might be sued…so have lots of money in your campaign account in order to deal with it.
