Prepare now to be an informed voter!
Start your week with the Senior Council of the North Laurel Community Center 9411 Whiskey Bottom Road, Laurel 20723. Drop in between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. for some coffee, pastry, and informal ‘face time’ with candidates for federal, state, and county offices. Sit and converse about your concerns and their positions. You do not have to be 50+ to attend.

This looks like it would be an excellent opportunity to sit and chat with various candidates running for office in 2018. I know many of you have to work…but if not…take this excellent opportunity to go talk to these candidates!
I would love to make it…but the flu big got me this weekend (actually started on Thursday evening)…I am feeling a little bit better…but still not at 100%…so more meds today and will see how I am doing tomorrow…hopefully someone will bring a camera along and capture the event in case I can not make it out.
