Hurricane Florence is on the way….and it looks like it could be bad for North Carolina. The image above is the latest information posted from the National Weather Service. While this will not hit Maryland directly, it does look like it is close enough to cause all sorts of potential problems around here. This was posted by County Executive Kittleman yesterday:

Also, Governor Larry Hogan has issued a State of Emergency for Maryland in anticipation of Hurricane Florence:

While I am not super concerned…It is something to continue to track and be mindful of over the next few days. My recommendation…get out now if you plan to purchase bread, milk, water, or gas for your vehicles…why wait until the last minute…go out and get ready now…just in case. I recommend following the various elected officials and state or county social media accounts for updates…that will be my plan.
