I am getting close to finishing my campaign finance reports for various races around Howard County. For this one, I am looking at the Maryland State Delegate race in District 13. We have 4 candidates running for 3 seats (Republican: Yates, Democrats: Terrasa, Pendergrass and Atterbeary). Here are the summary financial numbers on the latest reports:
So here are some general observations with the latest numbers:
The Dems have a big time money advantage over the sole Republican in this race (especially Pendergrass). Here are some additional details you might find interesting:
Yates:
- Had contributions in the amount of $1,395.00
- No other notable items on the report
Terrasa:
- Has $250 from Baltimore Washington Construction & Public Employee Laborers PAC listed in “Contributions”
- Received $250 from Luedtke, Eric Friends Of
- Incoming PAC money includes:
- MSEA’s Fund For Children And Public Education PAC – $5,000
Pendergrass:
- Had $6,130.00 in “Contributions”…the big contributors ($1,000 or more) were:

Fredricks, Richard (Marylanders for End-of-Life Options) – $1,000

- Incoming PAC money includes:
- Associaton For Justice PAC, The Maryland – $2,500
- MSEA’s Fund For Children And Public Education PAC – $500
- Orthopaedic PAC, MD – $500
- Sent some money to other campaigns / groups:
- Bromwell, Eric The Committee To Elect – $250
- Frosh, (Brian) Citizens For – $1,000
- Morales, Maricé Friends of – $250
- Team Howard County Slate – $10,000
Atterbeary:
- Had $6,455.00 in “Contributions”…the big contributors ($1,000 or more) were:
- Coble, Wylma – $1,000
- Royster, Cecelia V. – $1,000 (two $500 contributions on the report)
- Received some money from other campaigns:
- Davis, Dereck Friends Of – $2,000
- Incoming PAC money includes:
- Associaton For Justice PAC, The Maryland – $1,000
- Psychiatric PAC MD – $100
So those are the things on the various reports that I found interesting. There may be more that you will find interesting…go give the reports a look when you have some free time on your hands. One additional note…Delegate Atterbeary needs some cash…maybe a transfer back from the Team 13 Slate or from Delegate Pendergrass will be necessary soon…on the other hand, Delegate Atterbeary has a fundraiser tomorrow at Hudson Coastal…so that should help increase the cash on hand numbers.
