I am still working my way through the various campaign finance filings…and have a few races I have yet to report on…this one seemed easy and quick…so you get that this morning…the race for Howard County Register of Wills between Conley and Macfarlane. Here are your summary numbers:

So here are some general observations with the latest numbers:
It was a pretty quiet on the reporting front for both candidates. Nothing really stood out in the reports but here is some additional details:
Conley:

  • Raised the most money this reporting cycle ($2,610.00 in contributions and $1,186.40 in loans)
  • Has $377.36 in outstanding bills noted in the report
  • No other notable items of interest

Macfarlane:

  • Raised very little money this reporting period ($25.00 in contributions)
  • No other notable items of interest

The money side of this race is pretty much neck and neck when you factor in the outstanding bills for Conley…so neither candidate has a money advantage in this race.
While money will probably not be THE deciding factor in this race…it does help with outreach activities (printing brochures / palm cards and online advertising).
Here is a link to find all of the campaign reports for any candidate…in case you want to go lookup the actual reports: https://campaignfinancemd.us/Public/ViewFiledReports
I am planning on a lot more reports in the coming days…so stay tuned.
