Bill and I did not have a chance to address the crowd at the event last night so I thought I would send out my thanks to everyone online.
First I want to say thank you to everyone that attended. The bloggers, blog readers, candidates for office, elected officials, business leaders, members of our community and friends that came because I asked them to attend. You all helped make this a special event.
Next I want to thank Bare Bones Grill and Brewery for allowing us to to have the event in their establishment. Especially the Manager Rob…but also to the wonderful servers and bartenders that took care of everyone. You all rocked!
Next I want to thank our sponsors: The Massage Boutique, Performance Window Tinting and Auto Detailing and Bryon Macfarlane for Howard County Council. Without your funds I could not have offered free drink tickets to the first 60 guests. (on a side note – those were gone by 5:50pm).
Next I want to thank Pam Long from Pam Long Photography for attending the event and taking photos for us. I really look forward to seeing the pics of the event and will always be grateful that you agreed to do this for us.
Next I want to thank Ken Rochon from The Umbrella Syndicate….who I ran into randomly at Bare Bones Grill before the event and he agreed to hang out and meet people and capture the event with his camera.
All in all it was a wonderful event and I think everyone had a good time. It is always fun when you can bring members of our community together for a fun evening.
I am already working with someone on our next HoCoBlogs event before the end of the year…stay tuned for more information.

  1. Glad to hear it was a blast. Though in 2024, make sure not to schedule it the same day as an eclipse. The path of totality hits PA, I believe, and it is A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y worth it to be in the path of totality.
