From time to time I will write about how the Tennessee Titans and the Baltimore Ravens are doing throughout the season in 2016. Not sure either team will win it all this year, but it should be an interesting season for each team.
How did each team do this week?
Baltimore Ravens: (1-0)
The Ravens took on the Carolina Panthers in week 1 of the preseason. They won 22-19. No Joe Flacco in week one so we got to see a lot of Ryan Mallett. Ryan went 11-15 for 91 yards (1 TD and 1 INT). He has obviously has taken over the number 2 QB position (well, until he misses his next plane flight). Terrance West ran 9 times for 25 yards and 2 TDS. West has bounced around a bit and it will be interesting to see if he can make a home in Baltimore. No wide receiver really stood out in this game but Darren Walker (TE) lead the team with 5 catches for 48 yards.

Tennessee Titans: (1-0)
The new look Titans took the field on Saturday against the San Diego Chargers. The Titans won 27 – 10 and looked really good doing it. Marcus Mariota went 5-5 for 45 yards in limited action. The real story of this game was the Titans running game which racked up 288 yards. DeMarco Murray had 6 carries for 93 yards (including a 71 yard TD) and the 2015 Heisman winner, Derrick Henry had 10 carries for 74 yards and 1 TD. No Titan receiver had more than 2 catches. My personal favorite part of the game was Zach Mettenberger (ex-Titan QB) came in the game for San Diego as their 3rd string QB. He went 2-8 for 22 yards and 1 INT. That was just funny. Glad he is no longer a Titan. Matt Cassel (3-5 for 55 yards) will be a much better option for us as our backup QB.

This was a nice start for both teams. Week 1 in preseason means very little…but wins are always better than loses. Already looking forward to week 2 of the preseason.
