Howard County Early Voting – Day 6 Results

Day six (Tuesday) was another impressive day of early voter turnout in Howard County. Every time I think the numbers might dip…the voters prove me wrong. Here are the voting numbers:

Notes:

  • We are now over 12,000 early votes here in Howard County…AWESOME JOB!!!
  • Tuesday was the second highest voter turnout so far in early voting in Howard County.
  • Tuesday saw the highest number of Republican early voting so far in Howard County.
  • Democrats continue to out pace Republicans voters in votes and percentage of voters.
  • Independent voter numbers are still not great…but remain better than statewide (1.25% to 0.55%)
  • Howard County remains one of the strongest early voting counties in the state:
    • Howard County (Democrats 8.57% – Republicans 5.22%)
    • Statewide (Democrats 5.88% – Republicans 4.24%)
    • Anne Arundel (Democrats 7.09% – Republicans 5.39%)
    • Baltimore City (Democrats 6.37% – Republicans 2.59%)
    • Montgomery County (Democrats 6.27% – Republicans 3.33%)
    • Prince George’s County (Democrats 5.04% – Republicans 3.42%)

The weather forecast for today is sunny and 72 degrees…not as warm as yesterday but nothing that should keep early voters away from the voting centers. Only two days remaining of early voting…time for candidates to GOTV!!!
