Candidates – Maryland’s 3rd Congressional District – February Technology Outreach Scorecard

MD03 Candidates

This is my first post about MD03. There are four candidates (two Democrats and two Republicans) but I have a feeling that this is really a two person race (Sarbanes and Plaster). This scorecard will be a place holder until the General Election cycle…Don’t expect updates to it until after April.

The candidates: To see the full list of candidates click here

Democrat:

John Sarbanes: http://www.johnsarbanes.com/

John Rae: ???

Republican:

Mark Plaster: http://www.plasterforcongress.com/

Thomas E. “Pinkston” Harris: ???

Mark Plaster

Notes:

  • This is a first review…so no tracking data yet
  • Both candidates are using other forms of outreach (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and more). I would recommend visiting their websites to learn about all of their outreach efforts.
  • Check back after April for ongoing tracking and engagement information in this race.
  • If there are websites I am missing above, contact me and I will be happy to update.

Of course the reality of followers, likes, and subscribers does not mean a lot when it comes down to voting in the end, but it can show trends in a campaign cycle and makes a great resource for following all of the candidates.
