A little bit about Dalis Davidson and Dancing Leaf Farm:
Dancing Leaf Farm is a small sheep farm in the foothills of Sugarloaf Mountain in rural Maryland. Owned and operated by Dalis Davidson, a studio/shop is located on the property, filled with spinning and knitting items, hand created jewelry and other gift items. A ‘spinner’s’ flock, consisting of various sheep breeds, graze the nearby fields.
Dalis features her own line of hand painted yarns, vibrantly dyed in a rainbow of colors.

I opened the gallery in August 2013 and tripled its size just one year later. My gallery is an eclectic, up-lifting collection that presents and promotes the original creations of more than 20 local artists. I love my life creating my own art and promoting the work of other local artists. I continue to learn, be inspired by nature, and be energized by the joy art brings to our lives.
The Gallery’s art includes fine oil, acrylic, pastel, and mixed media paintings in multiple styles including still life, impressionist, and abstract;jewelry from natural gem stones, metal, ceramics, crystals and fused glass; crystal mobiles and sun catchers; hand-turned wooden bowls, vases and pens; photography; fused glass; pottery; digitized fabric art; pen and pencil art; hand-painted silk scarves; and fiber wearable art.

Having been to the gallery recently, I look forward to seeing the fiber artwork from Dalis. I think it will be a natural fit with the artwork from other local artists.
