Now on Fiverr, Ravens and Pentatonix

This week has been VERY busy. The job has been busy and I have not had much sleep or time to do much blog posting. Maybe next week life will get back to normal…but I do love what I do so it really isn’t that bad all in all.

First I want to start with a repost from the ScottE Software website news page:

Ravens vs Patriots – Playoffs

ravens vs patriots playoffs 2015

Ravens got the big win last week over the Steelers and will face off later today against the Patriots. Here is some useful information coming into the game (via New York Post):

The Patriots are 12-3 in home playoff games during coach Bill Belichick’s tenure, which began in 2000. Two of the losses came to the Ravens — after the 2009 and 2012 seasons — and the Ravens could have won a third had it not been for a late dropped TD pass by receiver Lee Evans and/or a missed 32-yard field goal at the end by kicker Billy Cundiff that would have sent the game to overtime in 2011.

The Ravens and their quarterback, Joe Flacco, have been the Patriots’ kryptonite.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, with an 18-8 postseason record, has the most wins of any quarterback in playoff history. But Flacco is 10-4 with an NFL-record seven road playoff wins. Flacco’s 10 playoff wins are more than any other quarterback in the NFL since 2008. During Flacco’s 10-4 span, Brady is 4-5.

In Flacco’s past five postseason games — all wins, including last week’s wild-card win in Pittsburgh and Super Bowl XLVII — he’s 91-of-155 for 1,399 yards with 13 TDs and zero INTs. His passer rating in each of those five games was better than 100. The only quarterback in NFL history who has a longer postseason streak of 100 or better passer ratings is Joe Montana with eight.

Make sure to wear your purple today and cheer on the Ravens to (what we all hope is) another playoff win! GO RAVENS!

Pentatonix

OK, so not totally on topic for this blog but I had to share this video. My daughter introduced me to the a cappella group Pentatonix. They are just fantastic and now a regular in my playlist on my commute to work every day. My favorite song and video is Evolution of Music. Here is the video (that has over 53 million views):

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Today will be a cold one (high of only 24) but we are expected to get to almost 40 tomorrow (will be a heat wave…LOL).
