If you watch TV at all, I am sure you have noticed all of the social media mentions in TV commercials. It seems like most advertisers have adopted the strategy to promoting their social media as part of the TV commercials. Here are a few examples (screen shots of the end of various commercials):

Subway promoting Twitter and Facebook:

Auburn University did something a little different, they are promoting the hashtag #ThisisAuburn:

And lastly there is Staples. They are promoting five social media accounts in their commercial; Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and LinkedIn:

The point of all of this is to show you how some major brands are using their TV commercials to promote their products as well as their social media accounts. Are you using every opportunity in your ads, flyers and other promotional materials to let the public know about your social media accounts?
