Comments: Courtney Watson added the most new Facebook followers over the past month. Courtney now holds the overall advantage in Facebook followers in this race.

Allan Kittleman added the most new Twitter followers over the past month. Allan continues his outreach advantage on this platform.

Now we all know that follower trends is only one part of technology outreach, follower engagement is as (if not more) important. Let’s take a look at engagement numbers on Facebook:

Here is a look at the Facebook activity over the past week of the candidate pages in this race: (Click photo for full size)

Courtney had the best week on Facebook with nearly double the number posts and double the number of Facebook likes, comments and shares.

We (here in Howard County) are very fortunate to have two candidates that are great at utilizing technology for outreach and engagement with potential voters. These two candidates are just to similar with their online outreach to pick one candidate over the other in this race.

Early voting begins on October 23rd (4 days from now). Make sure you know where to vote (Click the graphic for Howard County locations):

Of course the reality of followers, likes, and subscribers does not mean a lot when it comes down to voting in the end, but it is a fun exercise to do and makes a great resource for following all of these candidates.
