Comments: Terri Hill added the most new Facebook followers over the past month. Terri continues to add to her significant Facebook follower advantage in this race over all other candidates.

Clarence Lam added the most new Twitter followers over the past month. Clarence continues to add to his significant Twitter follower advantage in this race over all other candidates.

Clarence Lam remains the only candidate promoting social media accounts on LinkedIn and YouTube.

Now we all know that follower trends is only one part of technology outreach, follower engagement is as (if not more) important. Let’s take a look at engagement numbers on Facebook:

Here is a look at the Facebook activity over the past week of the candidate pages in this race: (Click photo for full size)

District 12 Facebook October

Eric Ebersole was the most active amongst the candidates and as such he had the most follower engagement (likes, shares and comments) over the past week.

All of the Democrat candidates continue to hold significant technology outreach advantages in this race. Terri Hill on Facebook, Clarence Lam on Twitter and Eric Ebersole with follower engagement make this and easy call for this evaluation.

Of course the reality of followers, likes, and subscribers does not mean a lot when it comes down to voting in the end, but it is a fun exercise to do and makes a great resource for following all of these candidates.

Early voting begins on October 23rd. Make sure you know where to vote (Click the graphic for Howard County locations):
