Comments: Congressman Sarbanes holds a significant follower advantage on Twitter. He did not add many new followers on Facebook or Twitter since the last evaluation but overall has a nice technology outreach profile and a really nice website.
Charles Long launched his social media presence in early July. Charles currently has the most Facebook followers. I always find it interesting when I see a page launch with that many followers. I am very interested in seeing how many new followers this page adds over the next couple of months. It is nice to see the candidate on Google+. I really hope more candidates start to use the platform for outreach.
Here is a look at the Facebook activity over the past week of the candidate pages in this race: (Charles had a slightly better week on Facebook with fan engagement).
Today I would have to say that John Sarbanes holds a significant technology outreach advantage. Time will tell if Charles Long can close the gap between now and November.
