Senate 12It has been a while since I have looked at this race. Let’s see how the candidates are doing…

The candidates:

Edward Kasemeyer (D) – http://www.edkasemeyer.com/

The Scorecard: (Click the “Yes” or follower numbers below to view the social media page)

Edward Kasemeyer (D)

157 (+42)

Jesse Pippy (R)

837 (+594)

357 (+63)

Comments: Jesse Pippy has made the biggest gains since the last evaluation in May. By adding almost 600 new Facebook followers Jesse has taken a commanding advantage on that platform. Jesse also recently added an Instagram account. I like the use of that social media platform and I hope to see it listed on the campaign website very soon.

Edward Kasemeyer has not added many new followers since May. More use (posts) would probably help going forward. I hope this team considers reaching out on additional platforms to potential voters going forward.

Here is a look at the Facebook activity over the past week of the candidate pages in this race: (Jesse Pippy had a slightly better week with Facebook engagement)

Senate District 12 Facebook August

I have to say that Jesse Pippy holds the technology outreach advantage in this race. He is on more platforms, posting more often and has by far the most followers.
