Maryland FlagMany of the GOP candidates remain very active on social media. I really like the updated website for the Craig team. They are also now promoting their YouTube page on the updated site (nice to see that added). You can take a look at the April evaluation here: April Technology Scorecard – Republican Candidates for Governor

Now on to the evaluation…

Here are my takeaways from the scorecard above:

Larry Hogan’s “Change Maryland” Facebook page continues to grow at a significant rate. This team offers the most overall outreach and is probably the most active amongst all of the candidates.

David Craig added the most new Twitter followers. That trend has continued for two months now.

With no significant changes Larry Hogan remains the technology outreach leader. I will continue to call a close second between Craig and George. I like what both camps are doing in regards to new follower adds and social media updates.

Red Maryland

The Red Maryland May poll is open. Take a look and fill it out.  http://redmaryland.blogspot.com/2014/05/red-maryland-may-poll.html

Of course the reality of followers, likes, and subscribers does not mean a lot when it comes down to voting in the end, but it is a fun exercise to do and makes a great resource for following all of these candidates.
