I know I am a little late in getting this scorecard updated but I have been a little busy getting some new scorecards and reference cards published. My little vacation also put me very much behind on some scorecards.
There have been a few changes / updates since the last scorecard in March (click here to read it) and I am happy to see additional outreach from some candidates.
Now on to the evaluation…

Here are my takeaways from the scorecard above:
Nice to see a website and social media presence from Walter Carson. It is pretty new so not a big following yet but it is encouraging to see the effort.
I was able to find a Facebook page from Warren Miller. Still not sure about a website for this team. The old Bates/Miller website is still out there and the Facebook page lists that website.
Trent Kittleman had a nice month (or so) of adding new Facebook followers. I am a still little surprised that the link to the page is not on the website.
James Ward Morrow had a decent month adding new Twitter followers. This team continues to own this space in this race. More regular updates would probably help attract even more followers in the future.
Morrow remains my technology outreach leader overall. It is nice to see others out there on social media and time will tell if the other candidates make social media a more significant part of their outreach to potential voters.
HoCoBlogs has a great resource for local candidates. I would say it is a must read for everyone running locally: http://hocoblogs.wordpress.com/for-elected-officials/
Of course the reality of followers, likes, and subscribers does not mean a lot when it comes down to voting in the end, but it is a fun exercise to do and makes a great resource for following all of these candidates.

[…] Technology outreach in this race remains pretty limited. I understand that District 9A may be a little more rural that the other districts in Howard County but it really feels like may of these candidates are not even trying very hard to find new ways to reach voters.
