Maryland Congressional District 6In what I think will be one of the most competitive congressional races in Maryland this election cycle first term US Congressman John Delaney is running for re-election against former US Secret Service agent Dan Bongino.

Here are my takeaways from the scorecard above:

As some of you may know I have volunteered for one of these candidates in the past (and continue to help out today when called upon) and as such I do not feel that I should make my regular comments and recommendations. To be honest it would be very one sided. Instead I am just going to let the number of followers and amount of outreach speak for itself. I mean I am not Red Maryland (Just joking guys. Please do not unleash a Charles Lollar style attack on my little blog. It really is just a joke).

The one note I will make to one of the candidates is that if you list social media links on your website the links should work. Check out the websites, click on the links and you will see what I am talking about. The upside for those that follow my blog is that all of these links do work today.

Of course the reality of followers, likes, and subscribers does not mean a lot when it comes down to voting in the end, but it is a fun exercise to do and makes a great resource for following all of these candidates.

  1. […] It has been over a month since I looked at the number for this race. The real story will come after June 24th when we get into the General Election but it is never a bad thing to watch the numbers as this race progresses. If you are interested in the April evaluation you can read it here: http://scottesoftware.wordpress.com/2014/04/14/representative-in-congress-congressional-district-06-… […]
